FSL was incorporated in the year 2011 and is currently implementing the integrated sugar project at Mega food park Bannenahalli village, Bookankere Hobli, KR Pet Taluk in Mandya District at an aggregated cost of Rs. 450 Crores. The sugar project would mainly focus on sugar production and bagasse based power generation in the Mega Food Park project being implemented by M/s Favorich Infra Private Limited.
The project would encompass setting up of 5000 TCD sugar plant along with 32 MW bagasse based co-gen unit exclusively for captive utilization. It is expected that more than 50 Agri and food entrepreneurs would be setting up industries in the Mega Food Park who would utilise biomass based uninterrupted, cheaper and eco-friendly produced power.
